Machine rigidity that achieves high-speed and high acceleration
An acceleration of 0.6G is achieved by driving the racks and pinions for the X and Y axes with twin motors and driving the Z axis with a double ball screw. By employing the cross rail of Box-in-Pyramid structure, displacement at high acceleration is reduced, thereby enabling stable high-speed machining. By employing high-rigidity square ram with a side of 550 mm, long-stroke machining of up to 1,500 mm in the Z axis is supported.
Continuous 5-axis head
DD motors employed for the B and C axes which enable gearless non-backlash, and rotation enabled at high-speed and high acceleration. And a broad range of rotation angle; The B axis: ±120°, The C axis: 360° continuously. Equipped with scale feedback as standard, Positioning accuracy and repeatability improved by using an index of 0.0001°.
