液压剪板机分为摆式与闸式,摆式剪板机由于是圆弧运动，而圆弧刀片制作又相当困难，一般是用刀片之后做垫铁补偿,所以所得出的间隙并不精确,剪出来的板料也不是很理想.因为是弧形运动,其刀片也不能做成矩形，而应做成锐角，所以刀片的受力情况也不理想，刀片损伤也较厉害.做摆式剪板机国内代表为闸式液压剪板机就克服了以上所有毛病，但目前国内厂家能做闸式剪板机的并不多。

　　1、不准剪切叠合板料，不准修剪毛边板料的边缘，不准剪切压不紧的狭窄板料和短料。

　　2、刀板间的间隙应根据板料的厚度来调正，但不得大于板zui的1/30。刀板应紧固牢靠，上、下刀板面保持平行，调正后应用人工盘车检验，以免发生意外。

　　3、刀板刃口应保持锋利，如刃口变钝或有崩裂现象，应及时更换。

　　4、剪切时，压料装置应牢牢地压紧板料，不准在压不紧的状态下进行剪切。

　　5、有液压装置的设备，除节流伐外其他液压阀门不准私自调正。

要根据规定的剪板厚度，调整剪板机的剪刀间隙。不准同时剪切2种不同规格、不同材质的板料;不得叠料剪切。剪切的板料要求表面平整，不准剪切无法压紧的较窄板料。

剪板机的皮带、飞轮、齿轮以及轴等运动部位必须安装防护罩。

剪板机操作者送料的手指离剪刀口应保持zui少200mm以外的距离，并且离开压紧装置。在剪扳机上安置的防护栅栏不能挡住操作者眼睛而看不到裁切的部位。作业后产生的废料有棱有角，操作者应及时清除，防止被刺伤、割伤。
